Osage Point Public Park

Nestled along the north shore of Keystone Lake and along the Town of Osage Oklahoma, Osage Point Public Park is the ideal retreat for fun and quiet relaxation in the afternoon or for the whole weekend.

Osage Point was established along with Keystone Lake by the US Army Corp of Engineers in 1960’s. However in the 1980’s the Corp made the decision to no longer maintain the park due to budget cuts. The Park quickly became overgrown, unattractive, and virtually useless with the exception of the boat ramp. In the year 2000 a group of Osage community volunteers decided to pursue the goal of restoring Osage Point to a park like condition and initiate a maintenance program. The group entered into an agreement with the Corp that grants the group the ability to maintain Osage Point Park as well as a degree of control over its use by the public.

The condition of the Park today represents many hours of volunteer labor and fundraising efforts on the part of members of the community. The volunteers invite the public to use Osage Point Park for various activities with few restrictions but they do ask that you respect the park and efforts of the volunteers. Please leave the park in the same condition you found it or better. All Corp of Engineers Park Usage Rules and Regulations apply to Osage Point Park but here are a few we would like to point out:

  • No glass containers are allowed in the park

  • Do not put fish remains in trash receptacles

  • Off road vehicles may be operated on paved roadways ONLY

  • No littering – Use the trash receptacles or take your trash with you

  • Quiet time is from 10:00pm to 6:00am

There are no usage fees for the park however donations are welcomed to help maintain the park. Also more volunteers are needed to help maintain the park. At the very least, please leave your camp area better than it was when you arrived!

Location: Right Along the Shoreline of the Town of Osage Oklahoma.
