For rifle moose hunting, the opportunity tends to be close to 100% for 6x6 or larger Bulls and more than 75% of the historic harvest. For archery elk hunting, the opportunity is always greater than 100% for 6x6 or larger Bulls with more than 80% harvest. For hunting deer rifle opportunity tends to exceed 90% with more than 80% total harvest. Antelope and wild boar hunting has been 100% harvested for many years. The autumn black bear usually has more than 90% chance. The success of mountain lion hunting varies greatly due to the physical nature of predator hunting and a variety of climatic conditions. Although we don't rely on snow for lion hunting here, as our dry land dogs are world class, as such, we guarantee that the tree is a lion during its hunting! When you add all diamond Outfitters customers for all species, almost 80% of our customers take home an animal historically. Your physical prowess and familiarity with your rifle, bow or mouth loader is the most important factor in a successful hunt.

Guides, accommodation, meals (including non-alcoholic beverages and snacks), USFS and / or BLM permits, private land access and transgression fees (if applicable), all trophy fees, taxes (AZ and Sonora included, NM not included), trophy preparation for taxidermist and Butcher are included in fully guided hunts. Is Diamond Outfitters a full time Outfitter?
Yes and we cannot emphasize enough that it is an important distinction in our industry. Very few, if any, other Western equipment providers are truly full - time. This means we have no other occupational distractions to focus on you and your hunting success. As you " shop around” ask the outfitter if you are full - time, exploring and preparing for your hunt!

Who are the guides?
Most diamond Outfitters guides are military veterans, law enforcement officers, fire department and first responders ambulatory, Border Patrol and custom agents, past game guards and local cowboys. We find that the calibre of the people associated in these industries provides us with an unparalleled level of integrity in the outdoor industry and coincides with our companies ' goal of providing employment opportunities for our nation's heroes.

Do you have a license, permit and insurance?
Yes, and all of our more than 50 guides also have CPR and First Aid certification. It is a violation of wildlife to guide without a license, permit or insurance and although you are not the guilty party as a hunter, you run the risk of a subpoena and revocation of the license for hiring a shipowner or guide without legal credentials.

Can a non-hunter be in camp with us?
Yes! We believe that family and friends are what make the outdoor experience complete! The non-hunter fee is usually $ 100 - $ 150 per Hunting Day and includes all the benefits the hunting customer receives, but (obviously) does not carry a firearm or hunting. They can stay in the camp or go to the forest with you as coordinated with your guide.

Do you have discounts for junior hunters?
Yes, hunters under the age of 18 at the time of hunting receive a 50% discount when hunting with a paid adult.

How far will my injection go?
Every hunt is so different. As a general rule, it would be good for our rifle customers to be able to shoot at 350-400 yards and maybe more. We know this is difficult for some of our clients and it is our job as your guides to get as close as you need to be comfortable. We have the Best of the West Long-Range rifles and Huskemaw wind and lift-enabled ranges ready for incredible, ethical, and long-range shots available in some camps with proper coordination with your guide. Archery clients should practice at 60 yards and be proficient at 40-50 yards for point and stem and up to 40 yards for blinds and tree hunting.

How physical are the hunts?
As a general rule, the more physically fit you are, the more choice you will have as a guide. That said, We guide wounded veterans, disabled hunters and hunters with mobility issues on hunts all the time. If you can walk 2-6 miles a day in a moderate country, you will be prepared for our hunts. If you can't, we'll still accommodate you with a variety of options including floor blinds, tree stands, sitting on trails, water, etc. we can really accommodate anyone!
